Espen A. Eilertsen

Espen was born in 1977 and is the head guide and owner of Call of The Wild. He has worked as a guide since 1992, mainly in Trysil, with different kind of safaris, dog sledding, white-water rafting and of course fishing.

His first fishing trip was when he was 3 years old; with a bamboo rod and worms in the creeks and smaller rivers around his family’s camp. At the age of 12 he attended his first fly fishing course.

He has also worked as an assisting hunting and fishing guide in New Zealand.

Espen is a keen outdoorsman; he enjoys fly fishing, either on the river with or without the drift boats, in the creeks or on lakes. In the fall you can also find him out in the woods with his soon to be wife Natasja, and his untamed dog Buck.
